Missouri Director of Agriculture names Fair Grove Farmers' Market the State's Best
|
"The Fair Grove Farmers' Markets exemplifies how to maintain a successful market, offer fresh, locally-grown produce and provide programs to reach out to youth and their community," said Missouri Director of Agriculture Dr. Jon Hagler.
The award honors a farmers' market that adds value to their communities and connects farmers to consumers through fresh, local foods. The Fair Grove Farmers' Market was applauded for its youth programs, educational outreach and producer development efforts.
The market also won "Best Advertising/Marketing Campaign" for its use of print advertising, web content and direct marketing tactics, as well as original, creative artwork to promote the market.

Fair Grove Mill Lot
This is the 11th year to enjoy dozens of varieties of homegrown vegetables, fruits, flowers, herbs, and plants for the home and garden. More than a dozen vendors each week with fresh harvests, along with crafters and bakers with pies, jams, jellies, salsa, rolls, sweets, and much more.
Hilltop Pizza and Grill also supplies great food from the on-site kitchen for dine-in and carry out. Be sure to plan for it rain or shine.
